Production & Delivery
When work begins, expected lead times, tracking and delay remedies.
1. When production begins
Production begins after effective payment and after the measurements, cloth and essential finish choices required for the piece are approved. If a clarification is outstanding, the production clock does not start until it is resolved. The seller will not silently substitute an unavailable cloth.
2. Order-specific timing
Product pages show an indicative lead time. Before the customer becomes bound, the checkout or accepted quote must state the applicable production and delivery information. The confirmation then records the agreed date or period. Hand work, fitting and supplier availability can vary by piece, but an estimate is not permission for an unlimited delay.
3. Delivery destinations, method and price
Tracked delivery in metropolitan France within 2 to 5 business days after dispatch; quoted separately for EU and international orders. The ordering storefront must disclose any destination restriction, carrier method and delivery charge before payment. If a destination needs an individual quote, the order should not be made binding until the customer accepts that quote.
4. Dispatch and tracking
At dispatch, the seller sends a confirmation with the carrier, tracking number and tracking link. A higher-value parcel may require a signature where the service is available. Customers should ensure the delivery address is complete and notify the atelier before dispatch if a correction is needed.
5. Delays
A material production or carrier delay will be communicated promptly with a revised expectation. Under Articles L.216-1 and following of the French Consumer Code, if delivery does not occur on the agreed date or within the agreed period, the consumer can require performance within a reasonable additional period and, where the statutory conditions are met, terminate the contract. The sums due following statutory termination are refunded within 14 days.
6. Risk, damage and non-delivery
Risk of loss or damage transfers only when the customer, or a nominated third party other than the seller’s carrier, physically receives the parcel. Visible damage should be photographed and reported promptly to the carrier and atelier, without losing statutory rights. For a tracking anomaly or missing parcel, contact customer care with the order reference; the seller will investigate with the carrier and provide the legally appropriate replacement or refund.
7. International delivery
Where delivery outside the stated domestic area is offered, the destination, expected timing, transport price and treatment of import duties or taxes must be agreed before payment. Customs delay outside the seller’s reasonable control will be communicated, but does not remove mandatory consumer remedies.
